Pay special attention to the analogy regarding training of the new puppy…
Note: The quality of the first reading (Isaiah 64:1-9) is poor due to a disconnected microphone. Please excuse this… the quality of the sermon recording is much improved.
Listen as Duke reminds us to “Stay in the Chariot” (Going about Gods Work) knowing that God will Win in the end … and we will be a part of that victory.
Duke discusses spiritual leaders who helped him on his Christian journey… and he encourages us to recall those who helped us on our Christian journey and share this with others.
Oct 31, 2017 (next Tuesday) marks the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation. Duke’s sermon helps to highlight key portions of the history that occurred during this 500 years and offers advice for our moving forward as The Church.
Note – Sorry, but this recording is missing the following introductory Scriptures: Exodus 33:12-23 and 1 Thessalonians 1:1-10. Also, a few remarks prior to reading the Gospel of Matthew 22:15-22 are also missing. In spite of this, the Gospel and Sermon are complete and the sermon is another in a long line of Duke’s excellent sermons… well worth listening to.
