A gift to the church is a wonderful way to celebrate the life and faith of a loved one. In lieu of flowers, friends and family may wish to contribute to a memorial that reflects the interests of the deceased. Our church offers two opportunities for gifts to existing funds:

• The Memorial/Honor Fund–A gift can be made to this fund by clicking on the Online Giving button or by sending a check made out to Presbyterian Church of Easton, stating that the gift is for the Memorial/Honor Fund and noting the name of the person being remembered or honored. The Finance Committee will recommend a use at year-end for Session approval.

• The Endowment Fund–This is a permanent fund set aside for a special purpose. None of the original principal can be spent, and the distributions from the Fund are determined annually. If given this way, the memorial/ honor gift will live on in perpetuity. A gift can be made to this fund by clicking on the Online Giving button or by sending a check made out to Presbyterian Church of Easton, stating that the gift is for the Endowment Fund and noting the name of the person being remembered or honored.

Each contributor, as well as the honoree or the family of the deceased, receives an acknowledgement of all memorial/honor gifts. This is an important stewardship opportunity, so that you or your loved ones ministry may live on, far beyond their physical presence among us. Once a year (often in March), these gifts are dedicated in a Sunday morning service of worship.
