Mission

Our Blessing Box is located on the church lawn and easily accessible to all. It is filled with essential items like non-perishable food, hygiene products, baby supplies, and Bibles. The sole purpose of our Blessing Box is to help those facing financial hardships. The idea is simple: "Take what you need, leave what you can."

For 10 summers, PCE has sponsored Community Garden Beds. Working closely with Talbot County Department of Social Services and other local groups, families are identified who are interested in a small plot of land to grow fresh vegetables. Rich soil, water and other necessities are provided by the church. The gardeners often share the impressive bounty with a small dinner at the end of the growing season. A recent addition to the garden is a raised handicap accessible bed built by a member of our sponsored Scout Troop as part of her Eagle Scout preparation.
