Pastor Robert White is a native of Washington, D.C. suburbs on the other shore.  He was graduated from Wittenberg University (Springfield, Ohio) in 1968 and Lutheran Theological Seminary-Gettysburg in 1987.  Ordained pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, he served congregations in Hanover, New Chester, Spring Grove, and Erie Pennsylvania.  Additionally he was pastor of Warren/Lordstown Ohio and the interim Rector (for 5 years) of Christ Episcopal Church in Cambridge.  While retired and living in Cambridge he is serving as Chair of the Dorchester Faith Alliance.  “In my spare time, I enjoy bicycle riding, gardening, reading, cooking and arguing theology with my ecumenical colleagues. I’m pleased the Formula of Agreement (1997) permits pastoral interchanges between, among other traditions, the ELCA and the PCUSA.  My wife, Louise, and I have been married 41 years and have two daughters and one granddaughter.”

We’re extremely pleased and proud Pastor White will lead the June 24th service while our Pastor Duke is on sabbatical.
