PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF EASTON – FALL CONCERT SERIES:

BAYFIELD BRASS QUINTET

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2018 – 4:00PM

The Bayfield Brass Quintet will perform at the Presbyterian Church of Easton, 617 N. Washington Street on Sunday, November 11 at 4:00pm. The concert is free and open to the public. A reception will follow.

In recognition of Veterans Day, the program (“American Salute”) will feature a mix of Armed Forces selections, Civil War era brass band pieces, patriotic music, and popular marches such as “American Patrol”.  In recognition of Leonard Bernstein (born in 1918), several excerpts from West Side Story will also be featured. This will be a fun and lively, family-friendly program.

The Bayfield Brass Quintet is comprised of professional players who are all current or retired members of local Armed Services ensembles. Musicians are Dan Orban and Chris Sala (trumpets), Tony Valerio (French horn), Rhoades Whitehill (trombone) and Tom Holtz (tuba).

The concert series is partly funded by the Talbot County and the Maryland State Arts Councils. The series also relies on the generosity of its patrons through donations, along with a free-will offering received at each program.
